The Toronto Ukrainian Festival Committee welcomes interested vendors to the 16th annual Toronto Ukrainian Festival. The Festival has grown significantly over the past 15 years, attracting over 500,000 attendees in 2011. In order to achieve an even balance  of vendors, exhibits, entertainment, food, etc. throughout the street, the Vendor area is limited to a certain size.

 

There is a limit of a maximum of 50 vendor and Kiosk spots in the “Yarmarok” Marketplace Area. Make sure you send in your completed registration form, along with your payment, as soon as possible in order to ensure your spot. Spaces will be reserved and assigned on a “first come, first serve” basis.  

 

This year's dates are: Friday September 14th, Saturday September 15th, and Sunday September 16th.

 

The deadline for submitting your completed registration form and payment is June 30th, 2012. Please inquire via online form below as early as possible. Late payments will not be accepted and will result in application disqualification.

 

Please note that if the Vendor spots are filled before the deadline date, no more Vendors will be accepted. All payments must be sent and processed by June 30th, 2012 The Festival Committee has the right to review and refuse any applicants.

 

City Rules for Vendors

The Municipal Licensing and Standards Office have set requirements for Vendors selling goods. All vendors that are selling, require their own Vendor Permit. All vendors must apply for a Festival permit from the Vendor Manager and must keep this visible during the Festival when asked for by the City and the Festival Management. All Food Vendors must attend a Toronto Public Health seminar with time and place to be announced.                                                                                                
 

Mandatory Vendor Hours

Friday   September 14th         5pm- midnight

Saturday  September 15th      9am- midnight

Sunday  September 16th        11am- 7pm

Early Departures or late set-ups are disruptive and present a safety hazard to the public and a security issue. 
 

Vendor Registration and Set-up Times

You will be required to register before entering your site. Registration will occur Friday afternoon.

Registration location, as well as vehicle unloading information will be provided closer to Festival dates.

The vendor set-up times are:

 

Friday   September 14th              2pm-4pm

Saturday  September 15th           8am-8:30am

Sunday  September 16th            10am-10:30am 
 

Please NOTE that you will not be allowed to drive onto the street outside these times, especially on Friday.

If you are taking down your booth before the end of the Festival, you WILL NOT be allowed to drive onto the street. 
 

Vendor Responsibilities

All vendors are responsible for bringing own WATER.

All vendors are responsible for keeping their areas clean.

All vendors are responsible for providing their own table coverings as well as decorations and equipment.

All vendors are responsible for providing their own electrical extension cords.

All vendors are responsible for cleaning kiosk area before leaving.

Consumption of alcohol is not permitted within your kiosk 
 

Kiosk Site Locations

Vendor spots will be assigned by the Festival Committee on a “first come, first served” basis, once the completed registration form and full payment is received and approved by the Festival Committee. 
 

Confirmations

Confirmation of acceptance will be sent to you. Please allow for appropriate time for application can be reviewed. Vendors must send a completed registration form and payment in full to the Festival to guarantee a vendor license.

Each vendor is responsible for the clean-up of the Kiosk area. Those leaving a mess or not complying with the General Terms and Conditions will not be eligible to return to future Festival events and will be billed “a fouling charge”.
